Silk Restaurant, boasting 5328 sq. ft., was in concept for over a year. Located at the corner of 8th Street and Peachtree Street, as a cornerstone of the Metropolis building, the menu features steak, lobster, and sushi … all with an Asian flair.

Aside from an extensive seafood and steak menu, the restaurant is visually dynamic with bamboo floors, an unusual wall of glass behind the bar, a private alcove draped in silk, and a drop dead in your tracks entrance way with soaring walnut clad walls, four waterfalls, German limestone flooring with ancient fossils embedded and more. A private banquet room for 30 is available for business or social function events.

Owners Anna and Raymond Hsu

Anna and Raymond Hsu, as restaurateurs and solid citizens, have been a mainstay for downtown Atlanta for as soon as they opened Hsu's (link www.hsus.com) and Pacific Rim Bistro (link www.pacificrimbistro.com), both on Peachtree Center Avenue. Visitors to Atlanta as well as locals had the ability to enjoy Asian cuisine served graciously and at reasonable prices. Because both Anna and Raymond are always present, and know how to make people feel as if they are all friends, the popularity of their restaurants is legend.

With the opening of Silk, Midtown Atlanta, the Hsu's have taken dining out to another level with the exemplar design of the space and cuisine that offers all your favorite foods in one dynamic locale: steak, lobster, sushi and more ,all with a touch of Asia in saucing and flavor.
